Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and ultimately is a composite of all the other signs in the zodiac. It sees the WHOLE picture. Pisces! That nebulous, underwater world of the dreamtime; that place where the imagination can take root and the world of Divine Source, God/Goddess/All That Is, turns the heart to compassion for all; the deep hidden places of our psyche where we come face to face with our own self-deceptions and rid ourselves of them IF we’re not delusional about ourselves.
Pisces is a water sign and all water signs signify the emotions. What unfinished emotions do you live with? Pisces is a LET GO, LET GOD sign. How many of us DO that? How many of us co-create with Source energy? What prevents us from doing that?
Because Piscean energy can be a “hidden energy”, meaning an energy that is hidden deep in our subconscious mind, therefore, what we take into our CONSCIOUS mind is extremely important. If you feed your mind a steady diet of negatives, you’ll reap the negatives. If you cannot face the reality that is best for you, you’ll live in a world of illusion/delusion. The question is: In what or whom do you put your faith? Do you live a life of “blind faith” giving your power over to something other than Divine Source? Do you give your power over to people who you have learned to believe are authorities or do you seek the answers within yourself, feeling them deeply and then allow the synchronicity of affirmation and confirmation happen? Discrimination is huge! Always ask in whom or what am I believing and why? Is the person, place, thing or concept allowing me to explore my depth, my uniqueness, or is the person, place, thing or concept telling me how I SHOULD be?
Let’s check out some Piscean qualities starting with those on the “high vibrating side” of Piscees
- A healthy Pisces will want to return TO Divine Source; God/Goddess/All That Is
- A healthy Pisces will seek clarity in order to see the whole picture. They WANT to see the whole picture.
- Pisces energy dissolves anything that has crystallized in your life and is no longer bringing you to wholenesss. Do you allow the dissolution?
- The imagination is a Piscean quality. Imagination is a great gift however, WHAT we imagine is the key. If our imagination is negative and we fantasize about that which is counterproductive, we only bring more misery to ourselves. Again, we bring ourselves into the world of delusion/illusion.
- Pisces is where we find ourselves searching to “transcend” the ways of the world. Once you do that, you bring spirituality into everything you do.
- People with a strong Piscean influence in their chart truly want to merge their individual power with the cosmos. Anything that prevents them from doing that they will attempt to dissolve.
- People with a strong 12th house, or a lot of Piscean energy will feel that they are at a crossroads in this lifetime…that they have something to finish up, something to do. The question is, do they stick with the old and what they know or do they take that “leap of faith” into the unknown? That choice makes all the difference in their lives.
More Piscean qualities that tend toward the “lower vibrations of Pisces”:
- If there is resistance to moving into wholeness, the negative Pisces can become very delusional.
- Addictions of all kinds belong to a strong Piscean influence. It is not only drugs and alcohol to which people are addicted, many people become addicted to their own pain and misery.
- A negative Pisces can show up as a “victim/martyr always blaming their condition on someone or something else. They do a ton of self-sabotaging.
- The will resist and be repulsed by doing what’s in their best interest. They will resist surrendering to their forward growth.
- They fear losing control, therefore they try to control everything.
To quote Myrna Lofthus, author of A Spiritual Approach to Astrology:
“Neptune (Neptune rules Pisces) gives the Piscean an elusive quality which is not easily explained. Once Pisceans learn how to use their prophetic gifts and to listen to their strong inner intuition, they will benefit immeasurably. But, since they have a tendency to doubt their own conclusions, they need to learn to believe in themselves. However, these gifts must be used for the benefit of others and not for self-gain.”
This short article is less than the tip-of-the-iceberg regarding the volumes of information about this sign. Suffice it to say that we ALL have Pisces in our charts, in some area of life. How we personally deal with finding the God/Goddess/Divine Source within ourselves, or how we avert that task, tells the world how willing we are to consciously evolve.
